The Champions Trophy will feature eight teams, divided into two groups of four teams each. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals. Each group match win is worth over $34,000.

Tournament Schedule
The tournament begins on February 19 in Karachi, with hosts Pakistan facing New Zealand. India’s matches will be played in Dubai due to travel restrictions. The rest of the tournament will be held across Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi.

Future of the Champions Trophy
The ICC Champions Trophy will continue to be an eight-team tournament, played every four years. The Women’s Champions Trophy will debut in 2027 in the T20 format.
